High Precision Scanning-Fixed
The LPX-1200 is a three-dimensional (3D) scanner that uses a
non-contact laser to scan the precise shape of solid objects with accuracies of up to 0.1mm. This
technology is ideal for the reverse engineering of small objects where extreme accuracies
are required.
Non-contact Laser System for Fast, Dependable Scanning
Scanning is performed without contact to the scan object, using a
laser beam. This enables high-speed scanning without the worry of
damaging to the object.
Scanning Procedures
Using state of the art software, scanning can be performed in one of two modes:
1. Rotary scan 2. Plane can
The
scanning mode to be used is derived from the amount of detail required
for the specific scan project. By combining the two modes, you can even
scan objects with
complex shapes.

A Wide Array of Scanning Functions
In addition to the two basic scanning modes, line-segment and point scanning functions are also supported.
By using our state of the art software you can extract the data for
just the characteristic line segments (such as contour lines) and points
of an object. Using this as auxiliary data for three-dimensional
modeling operations using CAD or computer-graphics programs makes it
possible to reduce the time and effort of modeling operations.
